Job Description & Requirements Published on 23/05/2025 Overview To perform less complex and routine tasks on full flight simulators, flight training devices, cockpit procedure trainers, and associated support devices to simulate requirements during aircraft maintenance. Perform O, I, and D Level maintenance when applicable. Follow day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work. Provide technical support to all flight simulators to ensure they are operational and functioning efficiently. Perform maintenance actions, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting complex problems on simulators. Perform timely pre-flight, corrective, and preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, and inspections on flight simulator training devices according to manuals, procedures, and standards. Assist in developing and enhancing trainers and systems, including system evaluation, testing, and software programming to maintain certification for simulator operation and training equipment. Monitor equipment performance, interface with customers and instructors, provide courteous service, and obtain feedback to improve operation, detect malfunctions early, and enhance reliability. Comply with safety, quality, and environmental policies to ensure a safe work environment. Follow departmental policies, processes, and procedures for controlled and consistent work execution.
