Clinical Trial Manager – Operations (Egypt) Company Base: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Role Overview The Clinical Trial Manager – Operations (Egypt) will lead and coordinate clinical trial activities in Egypt, ensuring they are executed in compliance with ICH-GCP, local regulations, and company SOPs. This is a critical leadership role responsible for operational planning, regulatory oversight, site management, and stakeholder coordination across multiple trials and therapeutic areas. Key Responsibilities Trial Management •Manage the planning, initiation, execution, and close-out of clinical trials in Egypt (Phase I–IV). •Prepare country-level operational strategies and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones. Site Oversight •Conduct feasibility studies and select appropriate trial sites. •Oversee site activities, CRAs, and ensure consistent site engagement and performance. •Lead site initiation visits, training, and monitoring follow-up as required. Regulatory & Documentation •Prepare and submit clinical trial applications to EDA and IRBs. •Track approvals and amendments, and ensure documentation accuracy and GCP compliance. •Coordinate with labs, couriers, and third-party vendors to support trial logistics. •Act as a local point of contact for sponsors and project teams based in Dubai and internationally. Quality & Risk Management •Monitor KPIs, trial progress, and proactively manage risks or delays. •Contribute to audits, CAPA plans, and operational improvement initiatives. Requirements Minimum Qualifications •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related field. •5+ years in clinical research with at least 3 years in trial management or project leadership. •Deep understanding of ICH-GCP, local regulatory requirements in Egypt, and global clinical trial standards. Preferred Skills •Previous experience with CROs or multinational pharmaceutical companies. •Familiarity with CTMS, EDC systems, or decentralized trial platforms. •Therapeutic area experience in oncology, cardiology, or infectious diseases is a plus. Language Skills •Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written). Soft Skills •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. •Capable of leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
