What you will do Provide service under the supervision of the shift engineer, performing repairs as outlined in the Technical Skills List, for electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC, refrigeration, interior paint and decorating issues. Assist with electrical & mechanical repairs and maintenance of motors, starters, breakers, and related equipment throughout the building. Maintain logs for all work performed during shifts. Maintain and re-lamp all lamps in the hotel, including socket repairs and replacements. Assist with electrical wiring for renovations, outlet additions, motors, and related equipment. Set up electrical equipment for exhibits and conventions, including maintenance for presentations. Assist in preventative maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment, updating logs accordingly. Understand monthly FCU filter replacements and drain chemical pouring. Support shift engineers, general mechanics, plumbers, carpenters, and other departments as needed. Maintain records on systems like preventive maintenance, work requests, firefighting panels, and company vehicles. Process requisitions and manage paperwork for accounts payable and departments. Oversee and update checklists for all mandatory systems. Understand basic GRMS issues and perform operations within the system. Operate, direct, and dispatch work assignments via telephone and Hot SOS system. Operate BMS. What you bring Minimum 2 years of technical trade school education or equivalent work experience.
