SMB Business Development Manager (Education Sector – UAE & GCC) SMB Business Development Manager (Education Sector – UAE & GCC) 6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Over 5 years of proven experience in business development and sales, specializing in educational markets including K-12 schools, universities, and training centers.Successfully develop and execute targeted sales strategies to expand digital assessment and Ed Tech solutions across the UAE and GCC education sectors.Closely collaborate and coordinate with Product Development Manager (PDM) to ensure product offerings align with client needs and evolving market requirements.Proactively identify and generate high-quality sales leads through targeted outreach, strategic networking, attending industry conferences, referrals, and digital communication channels focused on education.Effectively manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification, to conducting client meetings, tailored presentations, negotiations, and closing commercial deals.Maintain a consistently updated and accurate sales pipeline through efficient utilization of CRM tools, providing regular and reliable sales forecasts.Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key education decision-makers, including school administrators, university management teams, departmental heads, and procurement officers.Consistent track record of achieving and surpassing defined sales quotas and revenue targets.Identify, establish, and manage strategic collaborations with key channel partners and education-focused resellers to enhance market penetration and distribution networks.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, customer success, and technical support to ensure seamless client onboarding experiences and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Actively monitor education market developments, competitor strategies, regulatory updates, and proactively deliver insightful market and sales analysis reports. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.Minimum of 5 years proven experience in business development and sales specifically within the Education sector.Bilingual fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory.Strong understanding and familiarity with UAE and GCC Education market dynamics.Demonstrated track record of successfully closing sales deals in the Education Technology (Ed Tech) industry.Previous experience selling Ed Tech solutions, particularly digital learning and assessment technologies.Documented history of achieving and consistently exceeding sales targets.Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, networking, and presentation skills Excellent verbal communication skills.Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly within the GCC region.Valid UAE driving license.
