Abut The Role; The Director of Schedule Management is responsible for the schedule management of all CAPEX investments in Capital Projects portfolio. Role Responsibilities Responsible for the consolidation and reporting of portfolio programmes performance. Supervise and approve the development of an overall portfolio schedule for the works. Oversight of all programme and project schedules and the management of integration of all activities across the portfolio. Handle portfolio, programme and project specific investigations to interrogate progress, productivity, and delay events. Monitor compliance of schedule related activities in accordance with Capital Projects. Manage schedule control across the entire portfolio. Review schedule duration and float indexes for the portfolio. Assess schedules and duration allowances on projects across the portfolio. Provide oversight and guidance on extension of time claim assessments and liquidated damage application. Retrieve data related to the division and complete statistical, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. Implement necessary changes to current processes, procedures, and governance to align with the Capital Projects evolving goals and requirements. Manage portfolio risks and identify opportunities to enhance schedule performance across the portfolio and provide recommendations on control measures. Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior management on the performance of the portfolio and scheduled programs. Monitor schedule control and performance KPIs across the portfolio and examine any areas of concern or potential areas for improvement. Identify and manage the creation and enhancement of policies, standards and guidelines on CAPEX projects and programmes and ensuring compliance of implementation. Identify future digital and innovative trends and practices associated with the delivery of the portfolio and implement new technologies and practices. Provide strong and visionary leadership, supervision, and guidance to the team, setting clear expectations and creating a culture of accountability. Role Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role. Proven experience in delivering engineering and construction projects. Experience working directly in a programme controls environment. Experience in a senior leadership position. Handled cost control of multi project programme in complex environments and stakeholders. Experience in managing large, multi-disciplined project controls teams. Direct interaction with various boards and senior management on a regular basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr
