The Customer Service is responsible for processing Import/export (Air/Ocean/Land & Logistics ) shipments while coordinating with the internal customer service group. He/she will be responsible for achieving high accuracy through our forwarding systems to ensure high productivity and operational excellence & Follow up to ensure that appropriate actions were taken on customers' requests and queriesResponsible for customer service internally, bookings, documentation, and execution of routing for assigned shipments.Responsible for communicating information and instructions to/from vendorsArrange all product freight services as guidelines provided by managerVerifies that shipments are processed through Customs and portsResponsible for assisting department co-workers with problems, issues, and questionsResponsible for informing management of progress and requirements of the departmentResponsible for reviewing all documents and notify exceptions to customer serviceAssists the day-to-day operations of the export and import department to ensure that customer requirements are metCommunicate with clients, co-workers, and supervisors in a clear, concise, and timely mannerAdhere to all domestic and international shipping regulationsAdvise department Manager of any transaction problems or irregularitiesFurther increase customer satisfaction and business share through proactive and regular contact. Establish customer communication preference, i.e., phone, e-mail, fax, visitWork with Sales on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from Sales to Operations. for assigned customers as per Bz. RequirementHandle and manage all customer contact at file level regarding exceptionsAssist Sales in compiling quotes by providing rates, tariffs, etcProvide accurate job costing forecastAny Other task assigned by Manager from time to time based on business exigenciesQuotation Follow Ups, Shipping instructions, /Updates & Delivery of invoicesShipping instructions & Follow Ups, Engagement to obtain agents invoices with the correct costsShipment Follow Ups, Track & Trace of the Shipment
