TITLE: CNC OPERATOR (To join ASAP)LOCATION: Abu Dhabi (Mussafah)Closing Date: ASAPJOB ROLETo set up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines for cutting & production and to ensure production plans are met. A successful CNC machine operator will be safety-focused and understand the importance of precision and quality.RESPONSIBILITIESPerforming visual inspections on incoming raw materials and verifying them with drawing requirements.Operating CNC machines properly by creating cutting programs manually on the machine or by importing cutting files.Reading and interpreting drawings.Producing cut parts and items to meet dimensional tolerances without defects.Monitoring quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, adjusting, and reprogramming control.Awareness of different types of CNC machines (coping rolled section, pipe profiling, plate cutting) and different types of materials (carbon steel and stainless steel).Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.Comply with all applicable safety procedures and policies.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Good technical skills in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and sketches.Experience in operating CNC machines for at least 4 to 5 years.Experience in operating CNC machines that are equipped with plasma.Dedication to safe working practices.Ability to solve problems with a strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work for assigned hours plus overtime as needed.May require standing for long durations.Preferred CNC machine past experience:For beam coping: FICEP, PeddinghausFor pipe profiling: Muller, VernonFor plate cutting: ESAB, MESSER, ProArc
