Java Backend Engineer in Dubai needed to design and implement microservices. 3+ years in Java, strong CS fundamentals, and cloud services experience required. Full-time at Hyke HQ.Posted On: 22 Aug 2024Required Experience: 4-10 YearsNo. Of Openings: 1Band: SpecialistGrade: GRADE13Designation: BACKEND ENGINEEREmployment Type: PermanentOrganisational: Group Company (Code) Axiom Telecom LLCDepartment: HYKECountry: UAEZone: DUBAIJob Description:We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Java Backend Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and launching scalable microservices on our platform.Responsibilities:Coding, implementing & launching core product features.Defining product features and driving system architecture.Creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance products.Designing, implementing, and launching scalable microservices.Producing technical design documentation.Managing peer code-reviews and writing unit, functional, and integration tests.Working in a fast-paced and agile development environment.Providing technical expertise in developing solutions to complex software engineering problems.Collaborating with other engineers and teams.Mentoring junior team members.Skills and Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering.Minimum 3 years of experience as a Java Developer.Expert proficiency in Java Spring Boot.Familiarity with other programming languages such as Node JS, PHP, or Python is a plus.Expert proficiency in core computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.Experience with Microservices/Service-oriented architecture.Hands-on experience with REST-based applications.Strong knowledge of Database design and SQL.Experience with version control systems like Git.Fluency in English.Desired Experience:Experience in relevant industry domains such as Retail, Distribution, B2B, E-commerce.Understanding of CI/CD cycle, Kubernetes, Dockers, Hibernate.Experience in building cloud-native microservices applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
