Assistant Procurement Officer

Job Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct market research to find the best deals and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly.
- Visit suppliers or project sites to inspect materials, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues related to procurement or supplier performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in procurement or a similar role. Valid driving license and willingness to travel locally when required. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and procurement software. Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement principles. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines. #J-18808-LjbffrApply safely
