DescriptionQuarry Mining LLC is a partnership between the Ras Al Khaimah Government and German investors. Our team of 100 skilled professionals can deliver and install any of 50 off-the-shelf mineral processing plants or design a custom solution of any scale and size to meet your requirements. Our company-owned workshop handles up to 100t of steel production per month.We operate in GCC countries, the MENA region, and other African countries. We are ISO certified 9001:2015, ISO Certificate 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.We are searching for a new Design Engineer to increase our engineering teams from now.Scope of this vacancy is:Experience in this field > 5 yearsDesign Silos, Structures, Hoppers, and loading binsEngineering and design for special applications and special non-standard plantsStatic design and review of design structurePrepare offer drawings and budget BOQ + pricingCreate General Arrangement DrawingsCreate 3D Models, Fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, foundation drawingsCreate spare parts drawings and general project documentationEnquire equipment and required special partsPrepare weld maps, weld plans, and fabrication instructionsPrepare BOQReview tender files and design accordinglyOn-site measurements and on-site troubleshootingProper reporting and following up on issuesRequired Skills:Work in a teamWork autonomously and make decisions in consultation with the Head of EngineeringWork under high pressureMandatory: Experience and ability to work with Autodesk AUTOCAD, especially Advanced Steel and InventorPreferable experience with RFEMPreferable experience with Dlubal Static Design SoftwarePreferable experience with SidewinderAdvanced English speaking; German is an advantageAble to work with MS Word, MS Excel, and other office toolsAble to understand complex structures and machinesExperience in bulk handling: Conveyors, Feeders, Crushers, Screens, Silos, Hoppers, Bucket Elevators, Screw Conveyors, Shiploaders, Truck-Unloading Systems, Truck-Loading Systems, Material Handling SystemsExperience in steel manufacturing and fabrication processesGood technical understandingReady to travel to sitesTroubleshootingWhat we offer:Interesting and international working environmentNewly built engineering office with the newest workstationsMulti-cultural teamwork and experienceFair and performance-oriented salaryFamily-owned company with a pleasant environmentFree accommodation including electricity and waterAccess to pool cars1 return ticket per yearJob SpecificationQuarry Mining LLC is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Mechanical Design Engineer in the field of Engineering in one of their offices located in Ras Al Khaimah - United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate should have a mechanical engineering qualification and at least 3 years of experience. The position requires CAD, mechanical design, bulk handling, Autodesk, and Advanced Steel as mandatory skills. This is a full-time morning shift job.About Quarry Mining LLCQUARRY MINING LLC designs and fabricates processing plants and equipment for quarry, mining, and cement industries in the MENA Region, as well as bulk handling equipment for seaports.
