Warehouse Manager - Cold Storage

Job Title: Warehouse Manager/Supervisor Location: Germiston, Gauteng Industry: FMCG Food Job Type: Permanent Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager/Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our client's warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, as well as maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualification Requirements:

1. Matric Certificate
2. Diploma/Certificate in warehousing or logistics would be advantageous
3. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the FMCG food industry
4. Experience with cold storage management and distribution
5. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
8. Own vehicle and valid driver's license

1. Manage and supervise a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
2. Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, including cold storage management
3. Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems and processes
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards
5. Analyze and resolve operational problems, implementing corrective actions as needed
6. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
7. Manage and control warehouse costs, including labor, equipment, and supplies
8. Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
9. Ensure that all warehouse operations are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
