Job Description We are constantly growing and are currently looking for QC Engineer (Painting & Coating) to join a top qualified and knowledgeable quality controls team in one of our projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Assists in the preparation of quality documentation, including the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and in the review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to Painting & Coating works.
Monitors all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related Painting & Coating works.
Monitors the implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans related to Painting & Coating works.
Manages the inspection and testing of Painting & Coating works in their area of assigned responsibilities.
Monitors the close out of punch lists established for incomplete related to Painting & Coating works.
Monitors all measurement & testing instruments employed for Mechanical works.
Liaises and coordinates with 3rd Party Testing/Inspection Company as required related to Painting & Coating works.
Statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to Painting & Coating works.
Prepares, files, maintains test/inspection records and any other quality records generated related to Painting & Coating works.
Assists construction personnel to identify and resolve problems and potential or actual non-conformances related to Painting & Coating works.
Advises the QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences and where necessary, raises a Non-conformance Report for non-compliant work.
Assists the QC Manager in undertaking periodic audits, including those of sub-contractors and suppliers.
Assists in the preparation of final document for certification.
Assists in the systems commissioning as required.

What you will need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
15 years of experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage)
NACE Level II / BGAS CSWIP Grade 2
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
Knowledgeable in surface preparation and painting of various materials, use of blasting equipment, and painting instruments.
Shall be familiar with various pipeline coating systems and the methods for inspection and certification.
O&G Projects experience.

You are someone who:

Good communication skills
Is able to work both independently and in a team
Has excellent organizational skills
With EPC project experience in the Oil & Gas industry
