We are seeking a Senior Roads & Highways Engineer to join the Roads & Highways Design team, based in Dubai. The Senior Engineer (Roads & Highways) will be responsible for the design, analysis, and project management of roads and highways projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience, a proven track record in the UAE market, and be approved by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai.Your new role, what's involved?Lead the design and development of roads and highways projects from conception through to completion.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of road design with surrounding infrastructure.Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with RTA standards.Conduct feasibility studies, traffic impact assessments, and environmental assessments.Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and documentation produced by junior engineers and consultants.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.Liaise with government authorities, stakeholders, and clients to secure necessary approvals and permits.Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to ensure best practices in road design.Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.We'd love to hear from you if you have:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).5-8 years of experience in a roads and highways design role.RTA approval or registration as an engineer in Dubai is mandatory.Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road).Strong understanding of local regulations, standards, and environmental considerations.Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.What's in it for you?
