Technology Business Analyst - UAE NATIONALAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 10/13/2023 The Technology Business Analyst recommends the alignment of information technology systems with business operations by analyzing business needs and technology solutions to ensure optimal integration and workflows.Performing system analyses on software programs, applications, and web services in coordination with end user needs, ensuring optimal functionality.Participate in project review and analyze needs, providing recommendations to Unit Head for system development projects.Support the integration of new systems, programs, and applications with business operations and services.Work with end users to ensure understanding and workflows, particularly for new systems, programs, and applications.Monitor and report on product licenses, ensuring compliance with any governmental or internal regulations or policies.Review hardware assets and ensure they are compatible with new program rollouts.The Technology Analyst must understand the business domain and translate technical language to terms the business can identify with, integrating system language with business expertise.Ensure inclusion in project planning within the business and become a trusted provider of technological solutions to enhance business outcomes.Other duties as applicable to the role.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on related matters to facilitate the flow of information and build awareness in those areas.Day-to-Day OperationsFollow the day-to-day operations set by the Line Manager to ensure continuity of work and the delivery of effective and high-quality outputs.Report regularly to the line manager on operational activities, challenges, hurdles, and methods of resolution or mitigation as required to keep the Line Manager informed and updated about the unit's activities.EHS (Environment, Health and Safety)Comply with all relevant EHS guidelines, policies, and procedures by reporting incidents and hazards in a timely manner, and reduce consumption of natural resources to support in protecting the environment and ensure a healthy and safe work environment.Change ManagementSupport the creation of a culture susceptible to change management through a 'hands-on' and 'can-do' approach to the Company's new business opportunities, participating in the development of new initiatives, meeting planned targets, and demonstrating preferred high-performance behaviors.RequirementsQualification (e.g. Academic Qualification, Certifications, Licenses)A bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.Advanced knowledge of programming languages, SQL, and system integration solutions.Ability to facilitate internal end-user proficiency.Ability to design and maintain efficient customer portal support and feedback channels.Advanced knowledge of data security and encryption.Ability to keep up with IT advancements.Advanced communication skills toward facilitating the use of new software systems.Knowledge of relevant licensing and industry compliance regulations.Knowledge of security technologies such as IDS/IPS, vulnerability testing, threat intelligence, and firewalls.Minimum of 1 year in a similar role (consultancy background desirable).
