Our 2024 Partner Relations intern will have the opportunity to sharpen their market research skills and business acumen and make a real contribution to Zendy's plans for expansion.Being a part of the Zendy family means becoming part of something bigger: inspiring positive change in the world while growing in your career. This summer internship will allow you to develop your skills in research, analysis and reporting.This is a great opportunity for a well-rounded candidate with an analytical mind, and strong interpersonal skills to learn more about current developments in the digital publishing space and add an array of highly transferable soft skills to your CV. Some of your responsibilities will include:Conduct market research on current academic publishing trends, including the role of Open Access and Artificial Intelligence in research publishing.Provide valid and reliable SWOT analysis on similar companies, researching their offerings, pricing/business models and sales to inform competitor analysis.Gather data on potential partners to identify new business development opportunities and inform partnership strategy.Assist with reporting and day to day communications with current Zendy partners.Support with a range of partnership initiatives, including global industry meetings, online events and other marketing opportunities.Role Requirements:Passion for market research and data analysisStrong written communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and critical thinkingAn understanding of the academic research landscape is desirableHow to apply:If you are a self-starter who is passionate about market research and looking for a challenging and rewarding internship experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Zendy.To submit your application, please email a copy of your CV and a cover letter detailing why you are interested in the position to jobs@zendy.i.About Zendy:Zendy has been created with an aim of radically facilitating access to academic literature.
