As Business Development Manager, you will define the strategic goals, establish key customer relationships, identify and capitalize on business opportunities, negotiate and close commercial agreements, while maintaining in-depth knowledge of current and future market conditions.

Main Responsibilities

Create a healthy sales pipeline by developing new opportunities and managing existing customers.

Raise customer awareness about Photon Energy's solar energy solutions.

Achieve and exceed gross profit targets.

Work closely with the marketing team to provide continuous feedback on lead generation strategies.

Monitor market developments to identify sales trends and new business opportunities.

Drive profitable customer growth through innovative energy solutions. This includes identifying, researching, evaluating, creating, and delivering business opportunities that deliver value to both Photon and its customers.

Create and maintain networks and relationships, protecting Photon's interests with key stakeholders.

Lead customers in commercial evaluation.

Manage the entire sales cycle, from developing opportunity sources, building relationships with prospects, developing win-win solutions, and managing ongoing relationships.

Complete periodic sales forecasts and reports.

Key Skills and Attributes

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar B2B position. Experience in the solar industry is not necessary but would be beneficial.

Strong commercial sense.

Proven experience in the effective use of business development processes and methods.

Good work ethic, positive team attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to find and influence the right decision makers in a variety of situations - both internal and external.

Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with others.

The hunting spirit has proven successful in selling complex, high-value-added B2B solutions.

Experience developing professional proposals and delivering engaging presentations.
