Roles and responsibilities Manage projects taking into account their strategic significance, resource requirements, and critical deadlines including monitoring their progress, and ensuring they align with project delivery timelines. Execute effective project communication plans to promptly address any issues that may arise during project completion. Facilitate change requests and communicate their impacts on project schedules and budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, execute, and resolve project issues such as schedule changes, inventory modifications, quality deviations, and other plan deviations as they arise. Oversee the implementation of contractor mitigation plans, execution plans, procurement, and resource allocation to maintain project schedules within agreed timeframes. Participate in design meetings with various consultants working on projects to ensure adherence to project designs and business plans. Monitor and advise cost consultants to prepare budget validation estimates at each design stage, ensuring efficient project and budget management. Work closely with contractors and consultants to align and manage their scopes of work within agreed timelines and budgets. Monitor known and unknown project risks and keep projects on track through task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes. Manage actual project costs versus budgets on a periodic basis, providing financial reports and data for informed decision-making. Establish a network of development professionals, partners, and clients, and navigate complex relationships with a professional and problem-solving approach. Provide technical support to the team, particularly in areas of technical focus, including estimates and budgets. Gather and analyze relevant project information, consolidate data, and prepare qualitative and timely dashboard and MIS reports for management decision-making. Prepare progress reports and updates for stakeholders for making informed decisions. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure that project management strategies remain effective and relevant. About you: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Civil Engineering PMP (Project Management Professional) certification Minimum of 4-6 years' experience in construction or project management in related industry with at least 2 years of track record in managing diverse projects successfully Technical knowledge and experience in the industry Ms. Office suite - Power-point; Power BI (Business intelligence) for dashboards/ reports Well versed in Project Software Primavera or any relevant Stakeholder management Project Management skills. Risk Management - Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize potential disruptions. Project planning and Budget management Skilled in defining and managing project scope, including handling scope changes effectively. Excellent communication skills to convey project status, issues, and updates to stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in negotiation techniques for resolving conflicts Adaptability and Time Management Ability to maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Desired candidate profile Project Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices to ensure effective project execution. Strategic Planning: Ability to align project delivery with organizational goals, creating long-term strategies for successful outcomes. Leadership: Proven leadership skills to inspire and manage project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. Budgeting and Financial Acumen: Skills in managing project budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring financial accountability. Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impacts on timelines and deliverables. Resource Allocation: Expertise in resource planning and allocation to ensure projects are adequately staffed and equipped. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying project updates, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders. Performance Monitoring: Proficiency in tracking project performance using KPIs and metrics to ensure objectives are met. Change Management: Ability to manage change effectively, guiding teams and stakeholders through transitions and adaptations. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges and implement solutions promptly. Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) to enhance project tracking and collaboration.
