Enjoy seasonally inspired dining experiences and unmatched hotel services and amenities.Job Description:Manages personnel and resources necessary to maintain landscaped areas common to the resort area development including waterways, roadways, and parking structures. Oversees specialized trades of irrigation, pest control, and arboriculture for the entire resort including parks and city walk.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops work scopes for resort landscape crews; including timing, frequency, and expected results.Provides direct leadership to irrigation lead and tree pruning lead while providing management direction to supervisors of pest control and general landscape maintenance.Supports Senior Manager, Horticulture, by providing total department leadership coverage by filling in when needed.Provides training and resources necessary for team members to achieve skill levels and licenses required to maximize labor efficiency and quality of performance.Responsible for developing and managing budgets for the outer resort landscape maintenance, and property-wide pest control irrigation and tree pruning.Supports Landscape project supervisor by providing labor and direction for the installation of new irrigation systems and park services wash-down connections.Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.Carry out tree survey field works.Handle and manage tree preservation and removal proposals according to the statutory requirements.Carry out inspection of soft landscape works during construction including nursery visits outside Hong Kong if required.Carry out tree risk assessment.Qualifications:Bachelor or Master Degree in Biology, Botany or Horticulture.Qualified Arborist would be an advantage.2-3 years working experience in Landscape / Arboricultural Consultancy or Contracting firms would be preferred.Additional Information:An opportunity to be with world's preferred hospitality company.Captivating and rewarding experience working alongside passionate professionals.Range of exclusive Heartist Benefits.Develop your talent through learning programs by Academy Accor.
