In 2017, our founders started Sarwa due to a lack of financial services offered to most of the world, and out of a need to help empower people in the region to invest in their financial future. Sarwa is poised to continue growing into the go-to platform for people to grow their wealth.We do this through expert, affordable and easy investing. We're a small team working on the region's first and fastest growing investment and personal finance platform, making investing easy, low-cost and transparent, with a human touch woven into every step of the process.We are a remote-first team. Where you choose to work is up to you — we have an office in Dubai and Abu Dhabi that you can utilize as often or little as you'd like.We're looking for a Product Designer to help shape Sarwa's product strategy and vision. You will be accountable for every feature you design - from the very first sketch through to implementation, you'll drive all stages of the design process.To thrive in this role, you'll need strong UI/UX thinking, collaboration skills, and a keen eye for visual design. As a senior member of the team, you will partner closely with product and engineering to define, iterate, and evolve critical features from concept to launch.This might be a right fit if you:Have 4+ years of experience in fast-paced creative environments.Experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wire-framing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.A compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality design work and also tells a story that you are a deep design thinker.Have a well trained eye for great visual design execution - one pixel off is a big deal to you.A strong ability to communicate your thinking and design decisions (visually and written) - you're able to get people along on the journey with you.Excellent teamwork skills that enable you to thrive in cross-functional work.Experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Invision, Figma, etc.).Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback.An interest in mentoring others in their professional development as designers.Some of what you'll do:Define the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches and wireframes, and visual design.Get leadership buy-in, share customer insights and areas of improvement through research and data visualization.Build functional prototypes to validate and test designs.Develop product marketing content to support the marketing team in creating the designs for product launches.Help create and maintain visual and brand consistency between all products and outlets.Mentor and coach junior designers helping them grow in their development.Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.Some of our benefits:Remote and flexible work environment.Diverse, driven and supportive team with a positive work atmosphere (one of our core values).Market-competitive salaries.A culture of growth - being mentored, coached and supported to grow in your career.Great company healthcare package with dental and optical coverage.Learning and development budget.Equity plan for all employees.Interview Process:Initial Interview (20 minutes)Take-home assignment (4-5 hours)Deep Dive Interview with CPO (resume review + assignment review - 90 minutes)Final Interview with CEO (45 minutes)Sarwa is dedicated to hiring a diverse workforce with varied experiences, perspectives and opinions.
