They also have access to The Wellness Club facilities. Job Summary: The General Cashier is responsible for the disbursement and handling of petty cash fund, counting and depositing daily cash receipts to the bank, verification of cash funds and preparation of consolidated cash and bank deposits, reporting of over and short, accounting and monitoring the foreign exchange. As a General Cashier, we rely on you to, Collect and verify daily all Cashiers Remittance envelopes from all deposits, depository boxes and drop sheets and counts contents while accompanied by a witness duly authorized by the Accounting Manager. Receives, verifies, and acknowledges collections of credit and collection clerks by signing the official receipts thereof. Receives collections direct from customers and clients. Deposits cash sales and collections with the banks daily. Issues cash floats for cashiering purposes. Maintains an accurate record of all cash fund transactions and initiatives its replenishment. Participates in activities concerning the protection of the environment. Implements the identified Best Practices in the work area. Models the practice and encourages the use of the guiding principles in day-to-day interactions. What we are Looking For: At least 1 years working experience in a similar capacity. Communicates and writes with fluency in English. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
