VML is a global marketing agency that thrives on creating culturally relevant and impactful work. We are looking for a passionate and creative Content Planner (Freelance)to join our team in KSA. This role will be responsible for developing engaging and effective social media content strategies for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development:
- Develop comprehensive social media content strategies aligned with client objectives, brand guidelines, and target audience insights.
- Conduct thorough social listening and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices.
- Define content pillars, themes, and formats that resonate with the target audience and drive engagement.
- Create detailed content calendars outlining publishing schedules, content types, and platform distribution.
- Creative Ideation:
- Brainstorm and develop innovative and engaging content ideas across various formats, including text, images, videos, GIFs, stories, and interactive elements.
- Collaborate with internal creative teams (copywriters, designers, video editors) to ensure high-quality content production aligned with the strategy.
- Stay updated on emerging social media trends, platforms, and technologies to continuously innovate content approaches.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure content effectiveness, audience engagement, and campaign performance.
- Generate regular reports with actionable insights to optimize content strategy and demonstrate return on investment (ROI).
- Utilize social media analytics tools to gather data and extract meaningful insights.
- Client Communication:
- Present content strategies, calendars, and reports to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate effectively with clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment throughout the content creation process.
- 3+ years of experience in social media content planning or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media content strategies.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, X, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.) and their respective algorithms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
- This is a freelance position with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
- Candidates must have a strong portfolio showcasing their content planning experience.
- Experience working with clients in the KSA market is a plus.
