Looking to increase diversity within the group, our client is keen to receive applications from talented individuals who may be looking to relocate and work in Dubai. In order to attract this talent they are offering a competitive tax-free salary, free visa arrangement and sponsorship, 22 days paid holiday (plus 10 public holidays), medical insurance and an end of service gratuity payment (worth an extra one month's salary per year worked). Experience and Skills Required *Extensive Oracle database administration experience in senior support function for large organization. Deployment, operations, tuning, backup, security *Strong in data modelling, writing, tuning and optimizing statements in respective languages and scripting for Oracle DBs *Advance knowledge in Oracle database architecture and deployments. Lead and define system architecture for the application within the boundaries of the enterprise architecture Identify system functionality, and map functionality to software components *Experience with continuous availability deployments - RAC. Experience with Oracle ADG, Enterprise Manager, Golden Gate *Experience in environments requiring low latency, high throughput, availability and scalability. Performance tuning and advisory. High availability 100% experience - zero outage patching on rolling principle. Web grade scalability and availability experience *Experience in usage of Oracle DBs in public cloud style deployments - Amazon AWS, MS Azure. Cloud aware architectures deployment and support background *Expert in performance tuning, capacity management and troubleshooting large Oracle DB deployments with continuous availability requirements *Working experience with other RDBMS databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)*Oracle database 11g-19c administration *Strong in data modelling, writing, tuning and optimizing SQLs and PL-SQL for Oracle databases *Responsible for day to day monitoring, patch analysis and deployments *Expertise in cloning / refreshing production application and database to non-production instances If you are a good fit for the above requirements and are interested in this exciting opportunity we would be very keen to discuss this further with you.
