Job Description Company Description Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama is located in the heart of the Historic District of Casco Viejo Panama, a UNESCO protected site and United Nations designated world heritage. The Hotel provides superior Waterfront location, a diverse mix of facilities and outstanding service, attracting leisure and business clientele seeking a luxury experience in the context of a historic locale. Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo offers an intimate ambiance, outstanding facilities along with a wide range of bespoke services. Job Responsibilities
- As Banquet Manager, you will liaise between multiple departments to ensure the success of every group function – and model exceptional service and leadership skills among your team.
- The manager will cultivate, develop and sustain growth of the Events team to ensure an amazing relationship with event planners and group leaders.
- Work closely with the Sales and Culinary teams to ensure that revenues and guest satisfaction levels are maximized.
- Passion and knowledge of the events and banquets industry to ensure a successful operation and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
- Experience as a leader in the hospitality or events field as a Banquet Director, Event Planner or Catering Director.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
