Assistant Head Teacher - Secondary

Provide strategic support to theDeputy Heads in leading and overseeing critical areas such ascurriculum development, instructional excellence, student support,inclusion, operations, and resourcemanagement.Collaborate with department heads,subject coordinators, and teaching staff to enhance curriculumdesign, assessment practices, and instructionalmethodologies.Analyse data to informdecision-making, identify areas for improvement, and monitor theeffectiveness of interventions andinitiatives.Foster a positive and inclusiveschool culture that promotes student well-being, social-emotionallearning, and personal growth.Develop andimplement policies, procedures, and operational plans to ensureefficient and effective schooloperations.Build and maintain strongpartnerships with parents, community organisations, and externalstakeholders.Provide instructional leadership,coaching, and professional development opportunities forteachers.Participate in the school'sself-evaluation process and contribute to the development ofimprovement plans.Requirements:Provenleadership experience in an educational setting as a Middle Leaderor above, with a deep understanding of curriculum, instruction, andstudent support services, high standards ofsafeguarding. Excellentcommunication, interpersonal, and problem-solvingskills.Demonstrated ability to lead andcollaborate with diverse teams.Stronganalytical and data-driven decision-makingskills.A commitment to continuous improvementand a passion for educationalexcellence.Relevant teaching qualificationsand experience.
