Understanding job or clientspecifications and completing all language translations,interpretations, analyses, and researchaccordingly.Identifying and making sense oflanguage patterns.Completing accuratetranscriptions of audio recordings and tabulatingdata.Analyzing documents and texts andtranslating complex information into simplelanguage.Studying languages, cultures, andsocieties in order to draft national and school languagepolicies.Collaborating with other Linguistsand discovering and documenting the origins of words and theauthenticity of texts.Providing translationand interpretation services to the government, military, and otherprivate and public sectors.Keeping abreast ofnew research and developments that influencelanguage.Training, recruiting, and supervisingjunior Linguists.Attending conferences,lectures, and workshops to expand your skillset and professionalnetworks.
