Share this jobYou as a Tendering Manger will be part of Hitachi Energy High Voltage Products and Transformers business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be adapting and implementing Bid, Proposals and Tendering strategy for designated area in accordance with the global strategy. Ensuring technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. Overseeing estimations and bids and proposals ensuring alignment with Hitachi Energy standards and targets. Proactively leading, developing, and coaching the Bid, Proposals and Tendering team.Your ResponsibilitiesCreating, implementing, and reviewing local Bid, Proposals and Tendering strategy.Guiding and managing the tendering team towards achieving the assigned organizational goals.Defining key targets and ensuring these are achieved for the customer support.Overseeing the preparation of proposals through internal and external resources. Ensuring all proposals follow relevant Hitachi Energy procedures and guidelines as well as legal requirements.Ensuring most competitive offers considering the market situation and customer's conditions. Identifying which approach (e.g. direct sales, consortium, or channel) can be applied to better serve the customer.Overseeing the validation of terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) in each offer.Assigning and allocating internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation.Supporting bid or no bid analyses and decisions. Participating in project risk review processes.Ensuring support to the Sales organizations during the technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations with customers and provides technical support and clarification as needed.Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaching, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Driving and ensuring sharing and cross-collaboration.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundA bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.10+ years of experience in Tendering or Proposals, Sales, and Field Service.Knowledge in HV Products and Transformers.Complete understanding of technical requirements of the Client specifications for Green Field EPC and Brown Field Revamping EHV substation projects.Knowledge in engineering activity to support all bid or no bid decisions in place and to lead verification and approval for sub supplier engineering documentation to facilitate estimation process.Managing complete engineering interfaces against the client, Internal and External partners.Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.
