Responsibilities Your Commitment Reporting to the Head of the Department, you will be responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of a broad range of courses within the Electrical Engineering (Automation and System Control) and related diploma and degree programs. You will evaluate student progress and manage the resources of the learning environment. The successful candidate will liaise with industry and other educational institutions; participate in industry advisory committees and coordinate, manage, and supervise final year/capstone projects within the specified program area. You will also be involved in applied research activities/projects with the industry in the following areas: Industrial automation and control systems Industrial instrumentation and measurements Industrial networking technologies Robotics and intelligent control/systems Machine learning, artificial intelligence and cyber security for industrial control systems Embedded systems and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) You will keep course portfolio documents required for program review and accreditation processes and engage in instructional development as well as new program development. The College encourages applications from research-active faculty who will also contribute to the enhancement of applied research and innovation. Skills Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements Faculty members will be placed in the appropriate rank based on their education and experience. The broad criteria are noted below. For Associate Professor and Assistant Professor A PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; specifically, in the fields of Automation, Robotics or Controls from a recognized, accredited institution. Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field; specifically, in the fields of Automation, Robotics or Controls from a recognized, accredited institution. Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field; specifically, in the fields of Automation, Robotics or Controls from a recognized, accredited institution. Experience
