Job Description CLOSING DATE 22 May 2024. NOTE: Please ONLY apply if you have sufficient experience and skills required as per job description below. Job Summary: Responsible for warehouse activities, such as but not limited to, shipping, receiving of shipments, and staging (kitting) materials for shopfloor production activities. Lead assigned staff and insure a smooth and complete workflow in the warehouse. Ability to make timely decisions with limited information and tight deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY: Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Demonstrate dependability in difficult circumstances and show a sense of urgency about getting results. Responsible for the coordination, organization and issuing of inventory & non-inventory items. Give long hours to the job and/or be available around the clock in case of emergency, if needed. Willingness to assist other teams’ members and demonstrate flexibility toward the business. Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials. Monitoring material inventories to ensure that the correct number of materials are always on hand. Ensure requested materials from/into the warehouse to/from a designated workstation in the shop floor. Ensure that the correct inventory transactions are taking place in ERP and solve issues if any. Knowledge of ERP generated Pick Lists and Discrete Job Routines related to manufacturing activities. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and follows oral, or any sort of, directions. Ensure counts, weighs, and other details are accuratelyalways labeled. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves safely. BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of high school diploma, associate degree or trade school equivalent is a plus. Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems ( Oracle experience preferred but other ERP experience will be considered ). Comply with all NOV Company and QHSE policies and procedures. Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously with the capacity to work independently. Supervision experience and strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills. Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demand. Familiarization with an Engineered-to-Order or Make-to-Order manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with ERP Planning preferred. ( Oracle experience preferred but other ERP experience will be considered) . Preferably, operates industrial fork truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
