Research & Development Chemist - Construction Chemical Manufacturer (8-15 yrs)Location : Sharjah (UAE)Role : R&D ChemistCompany : One of the leading construction chemicals (Variety of Adhesives & HVAC Coating/Sealant) manufacturersPosition : R&D ChemistLocation : Sharjah (UAE)Experience Required : Minimum 10 YearsQualification : Engineering Graduate- WE want candidate from construction chemical only.Job Description :- To ensure that all internal R & D systems and practices of Company are in alignment with the Company strategy, monitor the execution of the Research & Development of New Products .- To deliver allocated development of new products on-time, in-budget and to-specification.- Plan and coordinates technical activities in plant and lab- Improving product quality and putting quality systems in place, monthly audit of Quality process.- Directs and Execute activities of Lab in process of new product development, prepare MSDS and Process Sheets, Job Sheets with internal coding of Raw material .- Directs and Execute in planning for Raw Material for new product development and product modifications with purchase department and production department well in advance.- Preparing plans, designs, cost estimates and specifications for experimental, maintenance, or modernization programs to define most feasible approach to technical problems- Directs activities of QA & Lab technicians setting up prototype units for Application of the new products and perform experimental operations, to get confidence of Sales People on new products .- Evaluates performance records of new Products, based on sales people and customer feedback, physical performance of products, submits report of findings to management- Work with Sales and Marketing to identify, develop and evaluate new products and new technologies and monthly report to management .- Work with customers and Sales people to support field trials of new products- Provide support to production and plant operations to develop, evaluate, and implement new product production processes and methods.- Make recommendations and justify needs for resources to support product development, technical service and production support.- Training, upgrading subordinates- The production manager is responsible for: the selection and design of equipment; the plant layout; materials handling; and production planning (including demand forecasting, production scheduling and ordering of material) and meeting production targets- Process monitoring, quality control, deployment of manpower in shift and achieve the target production.- Exposure to TQM/ISO concept will be an added advantage- Responsibilities encompass: production control (the sequencing of jobs, updating time schedules, etc); stock control; quality control; health and safety issues; and the maintenance and replacement of production equipment.- Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.- Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.- Monitoring/Assessing performance of self, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.Other jobs as assignment Business Head by as on when required.Furnish following details in resume while applying :Total Experience :Experience in Construction Chemical Industry :Experience of Production Planning in construction chemical industry :Name of those construction chemical companies where you worked in production planning :Experience in R&D :Name of those construction chemical companies where you worked in R&D :Current CTC :Expected CTC :Notice Period :Reason for Change :Current Location :Base Location :Middle East Experience :Validity of Passport :Education Qualification/Year/Institute :Product Category exposure in :HVAC Adhesives :HVAC Sealant :HVAC Coating :Water proofing Coating :General Purpose Adhesives :Carpet Adhesives :Floor Adhesives :Fabric Adhesives :Paper Adhesives :Core Winding Adhesives :Manisha PawarAssistant Manager - Talent AcquisitionDirect Mobile No. : +91 - 95990 50618 This job opening was posted long time back.
