S/4 HANA Program Lead

Estimated end date: 31-Mar-2026 (with possibility to extend)
Doha Qatar office (residential, 5 days per week)
Day rate, visa, medical insurance, accommodation/transportation allowances, andmob/demob flights provided.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leads S/4 HANA programs or projects with a delineated scope of work executed within a finite timeframe in a high complexity context.
Works with Senior Management/Steering Committee in the definition of the scope of work, boundaries, and dimension at the start-up of programs and projects
Has accountability for related projects over scope definition, execution plan, cost schedule, design and build, and contractual deliverables together with the Steering Committee.
Ensures project delivery on-time, within scope and within budget.
Supports the implementation and roll out of the PMO framework, methodologies and templates as defined by the DBS PMO.
Reports to Steering Committee progress, risks and issues and makes recommendations for the Steering Committee to action for the success of the program/project.
Provides feedback and lessons learned to the PMO during projects as well as at their completion so that these learnings can be incorporated in the PMO framework.
Coaches and mentors junior project managers upon PMO's request
JOB DIMENSIONS
Although no subordinate, the position requires strong resources management and organizational skills as well as the ability to lead through influence.
Often involve problem solving and conflict resolution between the different stakeholders
Each project would involve:
Excess of 10 internal participants and 10 external participants
A budget that may exceed 1M US$
Project span may exceed 12 months
ACTIVITIES
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Carries out detailed requirements analysis and sizing of project team; ensure resource availability and allocation.
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders; report and escalate to management as needed.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks and issue management to minimize the impact of issues.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
At least 15 years of end-to-end SAP IT Implementation Lifecycle experience.
At least 10 years of SAP IT Project Management experience.
At least 3 years of SAP S/4 HANA Project Management experience.
At least 10 years of experience guiding and facilitating executive level business decisions and performing business analysis in cooperation with business.
Experience with Agile Methodologies and Tools.
Project Management trainings/qualifications such as Prince 2, PMP or equivalent.
Oil & Gas Industry SAP Global Implementation experience will be an advantage.
Fluent English both spoken and written.
Spoken Arabic is a plus
