Manage the Estimation & InvoicingDepartment in an effective way and provide excellent services tocustomers. Lead in implementing strategies in line with companyguidelines for the purpose of generating high revenue and achievingoptimum profit margin by applying the cost effective pricingstrategies and strict cost control in coordination with VP,Business Development and Production.• Update VP- Shipyard on the activities and progress of the projectsand related projects should there be any deviation from thebudgeted plan. Prepare summary of budgeted vs actual man-hours foreach project and discuss with VP and productionteam.• Ensure the team is preparing quotationsas per client's specifications, is conducting inspectionon vessels or at site as required prior to quoting and coordinatethe preparation of technical tenderspecifications• Coordinate with BusinessDevelopment team to meet the customerexpectations• Coordinate and review scope ofwork for every project/job being enquired by the client. Providebudgeted hours to production team andplanning department.• Accommodate and analyse production feedbackon actual hours spent on the job and provide overall comparisonbudget vs actual to Management team. • Ensureadditional jobs or variation orders are raised by the operations.Monitor the job man-hours in progress with the estimated time frameand budgeted cost & plan.• Coordinatewith other departments for issues related to all kinds of resourceplans for cost estimation jobs.• Manage all therequisitions for direct purchase and third party services andensure they are accounted on the jobs.•Coordinate the preparation of draft & final invoices withdetails pertaining to job costing summary - invoicevalue, cost incurred and profit marine.•Prepare monthly revenue report, status of enquiries and summary ofbillable / non billable hours for VP Shipyard approval and financepurpose• Implement and Maintain within theirarea of responsibility and accountability, compliance to all MilahaHealth & Safety, Security, Environment and Qualitypolicies, Manuals, Procedures, Laws, Regulations and Standards.• Actively contribute and participate in MilahaHealth & Safety, Security, Environment and Qualityconsultations, training and initiatives• Ensureoperations/work processes occur in accordance with all relevantlegal, regulatory, and any other standards and requirements towhich compliance is required• Perform otherjob-related duties as assigned by themanagement
