About this role: • Review andapprove method statements created by contracted organizations forscope compliance. Liaise with contracted organizations to resolvetechnical issues. • Produce, review, check and approvein-house designs and specifications. • Co-ordinatedesigns, specifications and work-scopes created bymulti-disciplinary engineering teams. • Develop, updateand monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities.• Plan and co-ordinate activities of a team ofmultidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery oftechnical services to meet the project requirements. •Ensure that the requirements of environmental and safety policiesare incorporated into designs and work-scopes. • Review,evaluate and approve/reject Contract Changes / Variations.• Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scopecompliance. • Support Assistant Manager to review, updateand apply standards and amendment to external standards. •Support the development of personal technical competency and skillsand those of Coworkers. Participate in structured training forQatari Engineers under development. • Decision MakingAuthority • Review and approve technical deliverables withrespect to quality, safety to the required standards. •Responsible for design, drawing and engineering documents in hisdiscipline area. • Determine whether technicaldeliverables produced by external organizations comply with therequired scope and applicable standards. • Makerecommendations for approval or rejection of technical deviations.• Make recommendations for approving change requests.Whatyou need to bring: • Bachelor degree in Instrumentation& Electrical or Electrical & ElectronicsEngineering. Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status orequivalent is preferable. • 10 years relevant postgraduate experience should be related to the Oil & Gasindustry. • Ability to identify and utilize relevantengineering standards and Codes related to Instrumentation/IPFEngineering.
