Head of Islamic Coverage - Private Banking Emiratized role

Job PurposeTo lead and manage the Islamic private banking and KCG within the bank. This involves developing and implementing strategies to grow the business and ensuring that the team delivers excellent service and advice to clients. He is also responsible for managing budgets, developing and maintaining partnerships with other departments within the bank, and complying with relevant laws, regulations, and policies. He should have a deep understanding of Islamic finance principles and practices as well as strong leadership and management skills.Key AccountabilitiesDeveloping and implementing strategies to grow the Islamic private banking division KCG & Elite division, including identifying new business opportunities, expanding the divisions' market share, and building relationships with high-net-worth individuals and key clients.Overseeing the execution of financial transactions that comply with Islamic principles, including sharia-compliant financing, investment, and risk management techniques.Managing the financial performance of the divisions, including setting targets, monitoring progress, and taking corrective action as needed.Leading and managing a team of professionals, including setting performance goals, providing mentorship and support, and evaluating employee performance.Job Specific AccountabilitiesBuilding and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and other financial institutions.Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to Islamic finance.Providing personalized financial services to private banking clients, including advice on sharia-compliant investment and financing options.Staying up to date with industry trends and developments, and continually seeking opportunities to improve processes and enhance the team's skills and knowledge.Qualifications :Minimum QualificationBachelor's degree in accounting and finance.Minimum Experience12 years of relevant experience in the banking sector, with at least 5 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in Islamic Retail and private banking.Remote Work :NoEmployment Type :Full-time
