We are working with a UAE leading main contractor who are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager with a proven track record in high-rise construction to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes for their projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with specifications and regulations. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and extensive experience in managing QA/QC in complex high-rise developments. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the project’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plan
Establish and maintain quality benchmarks and standards for high-rise construction projects
Ensure all construction work adheres to project specifications, drawings, and relevant standards
Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, workmanship, and construction activities
Coordinate with third-party testing agencies and laboratories for material and performance testing
Maintain and review test reports to ensure compliance with quality standards
Identify quality-related issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformance issues and implement improvement measures
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all project phases
Maintain detailed and accurate records of QA/QC activities, including test reports, inspections, and certifications
Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and clients
Ensure proper documentation of quality control processes and non-conformance records
Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, international standards, and company policies
Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to meet compliance requirements
Stay updated on new quality standards, construction methods, and materials
Lead the QA/QC team, including inspectors and engineers, to achieve project quality objectives
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality compliance at all stages of construction
Provide training and guidance to project staff on quality management systems and standards
Communicate quality concerns and updates with clients and consultants
Ensure client requirements are clearly understood and integrated into quality control processes

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum of 12 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry, with significant exposure to high-rise projects
Strong understanding of construction quality management systems, materials, and methods
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality standards

Key Skills

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in QA/QC documentation tools and systems.
