Job title: Procurement Officer - ROYAL TOP GROUP COMPANYCompany: Talent PalJob description:Extensive experience in local purchase of electrical goods (i.e. lighting, wiring devices, etc.)Must have an excellent working knowledge of MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Local knowledge of UAE traders/suppliers/vendors is essentialDeveloping procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effectiveSourcing and engaging reliable suppliersNegotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous termsReviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibilityBuilding and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliersApproving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and servicesPerforming risk assessments on potential contracts and agreementsControlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costsOverseeing and managing the software systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goodsPreparing procurement reportsStock ageing analysis & action plan to manage stocks below the agreed threshold value of the companyEnsure the Committed On-Time-Delivery requirements are consistently metREQUIREMENTS:4-5 years of experience in purchasing products from various sources locally and internationallyProven experience managing supply chain operations/ProcurementsExperience using procurement software and toolsIn-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation termsWorking knowledge and an excellent understanding of stock managementExperience:UAE: 5 years (Preferred)Expected salary:Location: Abu DhabiJob posting date: Thu, 10 Oct 2024 03:31:48 GMTApply for the job now!
