Without Sira Certificate can also apply.- Monitor premises through surveillance systems and patrols to deter and detect suspicious activities, ensuring a safe environment.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points, reporting any irregularities or safety hazards immediately.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor, fostering a culture of respect and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and employees, addressing concerns, and offering directions as needed.
- Respond swiftly to alarms or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services to manage incidents effectively.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and logs, documenting security breaches or unusual occurrences for future reference and investigation.
- Control access to the facility by verifying credentials and conducting bag checks, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
- Conduct safety drills and training sessions to keep the team prepared for emergencies, enhancing overall security awareness.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel to build relationships and improve coordination during incidents.
- Stay updated on security protocols and industry trends to continuously enhance skills and contribute to a safer environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security training is a plus.
- Valid security guard license or certification as mandated by local regulations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or law enforcement roles, demonstrating reliability and expertise.
- Experience in diverse settings, such as corporate, retail, or event security, is highly desirable.
- Bilingual candidates preferred, especially fluent in English and another language relevant to the local population.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail, allowing for effective monitoring and incident reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with the public and de-escalate tense situations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the role.
- Physically fit to perform duties that may involve standing for long periods, walking, or responding to emergencies.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism, with a strong commitment to upholding ethical standards in all interactions.
