Roles and responsibilities
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing all housekeeping operations, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury service are consistently upheld. This role is essential in maintaining the brand’s commitment to excellence and meeting Forbes standards at all times. What will I be doing? As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you will work closely with the Housekeeping team to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and luxury service. Your responsibilities will include performing the following tasks to the highest level of excellence:- Assisting the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining the highest cleanliness, service, and product quality standards for guest rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices, and meeting/conference rooms, in alignment with brand and company standards.
- Planning, distributing, delegating, and overseeing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual work assignments.
- Conducting inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Assisting in department administration, including system management, inventory control, policy implementation, and active participation in team meetings.
- Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.
