INTERIOR DESIGNER Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertake design project from concept to completion by making and defining project requirements and schedule indoor spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting essential and decorative items.
- Conduct site visits to assess the space, take measurements, and gather necessary information for design development.
- Translate customer needs and develop detailed drawings, layouts, and specifications for all interior design elements, including finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures.
- Specify and source materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories within the client's budget and quality standards.
- Prepare and present design proposals, including mood boards, 3D models, and material samples, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
- Supervise work progress and coordinate with draftsman about the design details, working closely with them and explaining any difficulties or special requests from the client, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Oversee the installation and implementation of interior design elements, conducting site visits to monitor progress, resolve any design-related issues, and ensure compliance with design intent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design (or related field)
- Software Proficiency
- Space Planning and Layout Design skills
- 5 years’ experience with joinery and fit-out
- Experience in the furnishing and conceptual design of high-end residential and commercial projects.
- Demonstrates exceptional skills in creating photorealistic 3D renders using V-Ray and Corona.
