Be part of a team that grows careers and trees for our future forests!A Day in the Life:Our Regional Managers provide accountable leadership and proactive management of PRT nurseries to ensure our strategy execution is successfully aligned with nursery-level operational plans and performance, focusing on our people, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Your future role will provide accountable oversight and active leadership in safely ensuring the highest levels of performance, maximizing customer experience, and supporting operational planning for efficient results.Key Accountabilities of the Regional Manager are:Safety - Ensure nurseries foster a culture of safety and follow PRT protocols.Quality - Ensure crops meet customer specifications and work closely with the crop team for best practices.Continuous Improvement - Strive for continuous improvement and use new technology or best practices.Budget - Generate realistic budgets and drive towards meeting or exceeding them.Problem Solving - Generate root cause and corrective actions for problems to prevent recurrence.People Development - Ensure nursery managers develop skills consistent with PRT competencies.About the team:Reporting to the VP Operations, West, you will be part of a team of 5 Regional Managers leading our nursery locations across Canada and the USA. This position will have accountability for our Armstrong, Juniper Beach, Coldstream, Summerland, and Skimikin BC teams.Required/Minimum Qualifications:A bachelor's degree or diploma in horticulture, agriculture, or forestry, or equivalent education and experience.Five or more years of relevant experience in a leadership role with multiple location oversight.Strong leadership skills with the ability to plan, set goals, train, and coach employees.Ability to analyze strategically, problem-solve, and conduct root cause analysis.Must be able to travel frequently within your regions and as required, including within the USA.Experience leading crop production teams.Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.A valid driver's license and Passport.Compensation and Benefits:PRT's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance.
