The Job Purpose Is Defined As Below
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of the Record of Processing Activities (‘ROPA’) for their respective Business Unit(s).
- Identify, escalate, and communicate any data privacy risks within their Business Unit(s) to the DPO.
- Ensure Initial Screening Assessments (ISA) are conducted for all NPPAs within their Business Unit(s). Assist with the completion of Data Protection Impact Assessments as and when required.
- Coordinate with the relevant Business Unit(s) to action any data subject rights requests in line with local regulatory requirements.
- Upskill by participating in data privacy related training and awareness sessions.
- Support and facilitate the Data Privacy Office in all matters related to Consent Management.
- 5 years of experience in a financial institution.
- 2 years of experience supporting applications and systems.
- 1 year of experience dealing in data privacy regulations and laws.
- 2 years of experience in SSnC ADVENT applications like APX, MOXY, TRADEX, Rules Manager, Sylvan, and Vision FI.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of DIFC data protection law no. 5 of 2020 and data protection regulations.
