Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform comprehensive physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including biopsies, blood tests, and imaging studies
- Diagnose and stage cancer based on test results, determining the extent and spread of the disease
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate the latest advancements in medical oncology
- Administer treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy
- Monitor and manage the side effects and complications associated with cancer treatments
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of medical oncology
- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Specialist Medical Oncology
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various types of cancer
- Strong knowledge of oncology principles, practices, and treatment options
- Expertise in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including biopsies and imaging studies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for complex oncology cases
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology
- Experience participating in clinical trials is a plus
