Job Title: Product Owner International Everyday BankingLocation: Dubai, United Arab EmiratesJob Purpose:Ensuring stakeholders' business requirements will be met on the final output of the product while the delivered project is in an outstanding state on customer experience and technical quality. Detailing the Product Backlog requirements and user stories, especially detailing the journey of the story, wireframes, acceptance criteria, and creating and maintaining a quality Product Backlog. Providing downloads for detailed requirements to the respective stakeholders and walking them through the details. Supporting Tribe Lead & Global Product Owner while creating and maintaining a prioritized Product Backlog and roadmap, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and clear throughout the year. Supporting the Tribe Lead in preparing the Agile Execution Document, including the Initial Release Plan and other associated mandatory milestones, and tracking and reporting delivery against the Initial Release Plan. Ensuring the Agile Delivery Team members understand items in the Product Backlog to the level needed. Joining the technical analysis with respective development teams to translate business requirements into details for them to help sizing and solutioning exercises. Ensuring Project deliverables are of the desired quality and have appropriate endorsements/sign-offs. Supporting the Product Owner for transitioning and handover to BAU.Key Responsibilities:Collect and specify business needs and assess their feasibility.Help assign demand to agile teams and define the setup within the business unit tribe.Manage scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.Monitor progress reports.Manage risks and issues.Support product owner in monitoring requirements delivery.Prioritize requirements in case of capacity issues.Strong communication and negotiations across technology and other stakeholders to achieve results and decision-making to improve time to market for all portfolio items.Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work.Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work.Mentor and develop team members.Act as manager and provide escalation path for team members.Promote empowerment of the team.Ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and makes a meaningful contribution.Encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.Contribute to innovation with initiation of new features and products as part of product rollouts/upgrade.Keep up to date with the existing application changes and latest software technologies & methodologies in the market.Qualifications & Experience:Understanding of Customer Experience design and user experience principles, including a technical understanding of banking services and solutions.Understanding of Agile delivery principles and basic knowledge about Scrum, Backlog / shape stories.Having CSPP Certification is a plus.Strong Communication Skills, Strong Business acumen.Good understanding of digital developments and customer expectations from digital banking products and services.Experience using tools such as SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Trello, MS Visio, and MS Office, etc.Good understanding of Mobile Apps, mobile operating systems, and digital banking/finance apps in the market.Good understanding of banking products including but not limited to cards, payments, accounts, personal finance.Deep experience and proven knowledge and standing in the relevant business area including taking relevant decisions on prioritization in the relevant area.Deep understanding of industry trends and business unit to create a value proposition for the business unit and a product vision.Experience of having managed and delivered projects across technology, ideally covering Agile methods.
