About the Senior Automation QA Engineer roleTPConnects - a global, travel content aggregation and distribution technology company - is currently seeking an Automation QA Engineer. Your job will be to improve quality standards and practices, support teams with best-in-class QA Automation tooling and frameworks, as well as contribute to e2e tests and other testing as needed.You will collaborate with other QA engineers, taking initiative and driving progress toward our QA practices and automation. The successful candidate will be joining our international team, mainly based in Dubai.Key responsibilitiesApplying world-class QA best practices to the development processes and technical stacksCreate and maintain detailed automated test casesOversee and manage multiple projects at a timeEstimate, prioritize, and plan testing activitiesExperienced in Agile methodologyLeveraging the team and developers to implement end-to-end testingReview requirements and provide knowledgeable feedback to ensure they are thorough and detailedKeep thorough documentation of all aspects of a project, including but not limited to:➢ Deployment communication➢ Detailed bug tickets➢ Comprehensive manual and automated test casesActively participate in project development meetings such as backlog grooming and sprint planningEnsure all major software releases meet a high-quality standardProactively communicates with Scrum Master, Business Analysts, and Developers about open issues and test statusSkills and competenciesHands-on Automation QA engineering skills and mindset5 years of experience as a QA EngineerExperience configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)Experience implementing automated testing solutions at an enterprise scaleAbility to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks based on prioritySolid grounding in different levels of testing: Web services/API testing (using Postman), functional testing (both desktop and mobile), regression testing, and performance testingExperience working with automation framework tools such as Cucumber, TestNGExperience in both backend and frontend testing strategiesExperience as a developer/familiarity in the following languages: JavaExperience building QA and CI/CD tooling and configuration set-up that can scale across multiple products and deployments with high standardization & maintainabilityExperience or understanding of the Airline domain is a big advantageAbout TPConnectsTPConnects is an IATA-certified, global, travel content aggregation and distribution, SaaS and cloud technology company.
