Job Title: Key Account Manager Location: Galway, Ireland Company: Multinational Dairy Manufacturing Company Job Summary: As a Key Account Manager specialising in Foodservice, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key retail and wholesale clients in Ireland. Your primary focus will be to drive sales growth, ensure customer satisfaction, and achieve company objectives by implementing effective sales strategies tailored to the dairy product market. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review performance, address issues, and explore new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to tailor product offerings and promotional activities to meet client needs.
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms of trade with key accounts.
- Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies and profitability objectives.
- Resolve any contract-related issues promptly to maintain a positive client relationship.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall business performance.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in key account management, preferably within the FMCG or dairy industry.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
