Our goal is to build a strong and recognizable brand in the industry with our B2B website and technology at the core of operation as a remote/hybrid contemporary media company.We are seeking a CTO/CDO with a strong background in video media, automation technology, and website production to lead our HIYP website build from start to finish, and digitization of the agency, building out back office and front-end portals, enabling contributors to upload to our video marketplace, and clients to pay seamlessly for subscriptions and licenses, utilizing cloud technology, AI applications and integrating new technology such as crypto and blockchain where appropriate for users across the stakeholder mix.What's the Role?Oversee the concept, design, build, and implementation of the HIYP website, including day-to-day operations and ongoing development.Collaborate with the CEO and senior leaders to establish and develop company systems, project management practices, and implementation strategies to drive growth across the HIYP website platform.Work alongside the CFO to develop financial systems aligned with business objectives, including back-office payment systems for contributors, revenue sharing partners, invoicing, billing, and subscription model integration.Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy to ensure the agency remains at the forefront of technological advancements in the media industry.Manage the end-to-end process of creating subscription-based websites featuring media licensing products, including the integration of modern video compression technologies and video tools within the back office for contributors.Implement secure and user-friendly payment systems, offering clients various methods such as PayPal, cryptocurrencies, and frictionless payment gateways.Drive digital marketing initiatives by optimizing SEO strategies to enhance organic traffic and increase brand visibility.Explore and implement AI applications and automation tools to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall user experience.Build and lead a high-performing team of digital production staff, either in-house or through global outsourcing partnerships.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital initiatives with overall business objectives.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, providing recommendations for their integration into the agency's operations.What Skills do I need for this job?Minimum of 5 years of executive-level experience as a Chief Digital Officer or Chief Technology Officer in media companies, fintech, crypto, or UGC news agencies.Proven track record in creating and managing subscription-based websites featuring media licensing products.Extensive knowledge of modern video compression techniques, video tools, and back-office systems for contributors.Strong IT knowledge in security and cloud systems, enabling fast transmission of video to global clients and maintaining a safe and robust infrastructure.Understanding of payment integration systems, including PayPal, cryptocurrencies, and frictionless user journeys.Proficiency in SEO strategies and digital marketing techniques to drive organic traffic and increase brand visibility.Experience in implementing AI applications and automation tools to optimize processes and enhance user experiences.Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams of digital production staff, either in-house or through global outsourcing partnerships.Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.Experience in web3 projects is an advantage, particularly in NFT licensing, crypto, and blockchain integrations.Join us in shaping the future of B2B viral media video and revolutionizing the digital landscape.
