The Role Job Purpose APD Facade: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-end hospitality and luxury residential projects. You will play a critical role in overseeing the construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities - Leadership

  1. Coordinate the activities of the construction team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic project management plans, policies and procedures.
  2. Manage the team by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the functional challenges and goals.
  3. Serve as a role model to ensure employees’ awareness and commitment to TRSDC vision, mission, values, fundamentals and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated human resources, and continuously improve performance.

Budget

  1. Contribute to the preparation of the functional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
  2. Oversee and direct design, procurement and construction of the façade works from conception to completion.
  3. Review the project specifications and design in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  4. Oversee all onsite and offsite construction activities to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities - Functional

  1. Lead and manage the construction of complex facade systems for high-end luxury residential and hospitality projects.
  2. Oversee all phases of construction, from pre-construction planning through to project completion.
  3. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the facade design is feasible and aligns with project specifications.
  4. Ensure adherence to safety standards and building codes.
  5. Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  6. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and project progress.
  7. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  8. Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
  9. Mentor and guide junior construction staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Job Responsibilities - Organizational

  1. Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  2. Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies and standards.

Safety, Quality and Environment

  1. Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Continuous Improvement

  1. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the department's systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

- Internal - External: Service providers, vendors, consultants, subcontractors and contractors.

Requirements

Job Requirements - Qualification & Experience

  1. Minimum of 18 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on complex facade projects.
  2. Proven track record in delivering high-end luxury residential and hospitality projects.
  3. Strong knowledge of facade systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  7. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  8. Professional certifications in project management or construction management are preferred.
