A large Real Estate Group is currently looking for an experienced Shopping Centre Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi.You will be responsible for providing users of the shopping centre with retail property management services on site that meet their expectations, through coordinating resources and overseeing site management.Your main responsibilities will include:Manage on-site staff.Responsibility for, and management of, the centre's operational and budgets.Operate within project / departmental budgets.Develop a close working relationship with all tenants, encouraging them to conduct their business efficiently and effectively, in compliance with the requirements of their leases and any supplemental regulations.Develop close links with the appropriate local authorities and contribute to local community activities and initiatives.Assist and cooperate with management team regarding asset management and marketing initiatives.Assist leasing team with on-site inspections and the provision of operational data where required.Issue written orders regarding health & safety, operations, management, security and cleanliness of the centre and implement appropriate procedures to create and maintain an effective environment for staff, retailers and customers.Instruct, motivate and develop on-site staff and any third parties working closely with on-site staff into a cohesive, unified and efficient team.Ensure that the centre and on-site practices of staff and third party suppliers and contractors meet all relevant statutory, legal and insurance requirements.Manage credit control, cash handling and banking processes, paying particular attention to the security of cash and cheques.Produce and execute an annual marketing plan to promote and market the centre, within the allocated budget.Work with Head of Marketing.To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and attributes:At least 5 years' operational experience in a shopping centre environment.Presentation, negotiation, teamwork and report writing skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Good command of written/verbal English and Arabic.IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Internet).High level of preciseness and analytical skills.Demonstrable ability to take responsibility for sizeable and complex instructions.Relevant client management experience.Relevant staff management experience.Demonstrable technical competence in areas relevant to role.Detailed knowledge of legislation and case law relevant to role.Knowledge of the retail property sector.Demonstrable understanding of market and local knowledge.Demonstrable understanding of business development and client relationship management.About The CompanyManpower Professional, a division of Manpower Inc., offers comprehensive, expert recruitment services backed by award-winning training, assessment and selection, and outsourcing.
