We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our talent pool for future opportunities within East Africa. By joining our talent pool, you will be considered for upcoming roles as they become available, giving you a head start in our hiring process.Job ResponsibilitiesCapture and report all project financial data within RA's ERP system. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and international accounting standards.Assist the Project Manager in preparing and monitoring project budgets. Provide regular budgetary reports and analysis to ensure projects stay within financial constraints.Coordinate and manage payroll for all project staff. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, and disbursements.Oversee the management of petty cash funds, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation of expenses.Manage local cash purchases for local vendors, ensuring that transactions are properly documented, approved, and recorded in the ERP system.Coordinate and manage cash in-country allowances for project staff, ensuring timely disbursements and accurate record-keeping.Implement cost control measures to ensure efficient use of resources. Monitor project expenditures and identify areas for cost savings.Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making. Prepare financial forecasts, variance analysis, and profitability assessments.Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal controls. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits.Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including invoices, receipts, and financial statements. Ensure documentation is readily accessible for reporting and audit purposes.Work closely with the Project Manager, procurement team, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial matters. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support project objectives.Provide training and support to finance team members and other staff on financial processes and ERP system usage.RequirementsRelevant finance degree (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration).Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational or remote project environment.Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.Knowledge of international accounting standards and financial regulations.Proven experience in payroll management, cost control, and financial analysis.
