Bar Manager

Create, inspire, and conceptualizethe beverage menus in alignment with the overall direction by thebrand and ensure that menus are up todate.Ensures that all beverage servicestandards and sequences of services are being followed and adheredto by the staff.Monitors and adjusts theschedules for the staff in close coordination with the GeneralManager, in order to meet demand and customer serviceexpectations.Managing and achieving thebudgets that are determined for the beveragedepartment.Forecast and keep track of whichdrinks are most in demand and establish creative techniques andmotivate bar team to increase the sales revenue of thebar.Ensure that all beverage products servedmeet the established specifications andstandards.Ensure implementation of areasanitation standards.Review cost increasescommunicate with supplier to review charges and apply strategies tolower costs when possible.Empowers employeesto provide excellent customer service.Ensurethat adequate stock and equipment is available before and duringservice.Ensure that all beverage equipment isoperated safely and with reasonable care, reporting mechanicalproblems for repair.Manage the staff throughcoaching and training, in order to improve performance and toachieve the department's objectives andtargetsProvide on-the-job training andconstructive feedback to subordinates to support their overalldevelopment.RequirementsMinimum5 years of experience in similar position in a high-volume, resortexperience preferredHas working knowledge ofall aspects of beverage operationsExcellentcommunication skillsExcellent interpersonaland organizational skillsExcellent managementskills INT
