We arelooking to fill a full time Foundry Manager position with amanufacturer located in the area of Hagerstown,Indiana.MUSTHAVESAmanager or superintendent level background in Foundry IS REQUIREDTOAPPLY.SALARYRANGE$120kto $130k peryearPlusfullrelocationSUMMARYPlan,direct, and coordinate all manufacturing and related servicefunctions to achieve efficient and economical plant operationswhich fulfill customer quality and delivery expectation and Companyprofit objectives. Ensure all safety, quality, and productivityprocesses and procedures are followed within areas ofresponsibility.DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIESDevelop,establish, and administer short and long term manufacturing andoperating plans to meet established goals and objectives. Ensureadherence to established manufacturing plans and policies.Coordinate andexpedite manufacturing operations including such matters asproduction scheduling, engineering, procurement, productionoperations, tooling and maintenance. Employ proper motivatingtechniques and delegate appropriate authority to departmentmanagers to accomplish goals and objectives.Maintain closesupervision over production operations through direct reports tomaintain coordination and control of production operations acrossdepartments and all shifts. Maintain conformance with budget, andproper utilization of personnel, equipment, and facilities.Counsel, coach and develop supervisors and nonexempt employees.Ensure that all departments follow established guidelines forsafety, production, quality, and environmental quality.Optimizeproduction schedules and meet quality and cost standards. Maximizeproduction efficiency and continuously seek to reduce the cost ofoperations by developing new, and refining current processes andutilizing the work force more efficiently.Oversee anddirect the preparation of operating budgets for plant departments.Administer budgets and monitor budget compliance during thebusiness year, taking appropriate corrective action in the event ofa budgetvariance.Oversee andcoordinate various programs and functions which are essential tothe manufacturing process, such as safety, training, housekeeping,and wage and salary administration.Maintain anadequate work force to fulfill production requirements.Lead and pursuestrategies to enhance employee morale and maintain union-freeenvironment and to maximize production efficiency.Oversee effortswhich ensure conformance with Company work rules and regulations.Oversee effortswhich encourage the use of safety equipment and devices whileencouraging proper housekeeping to produce a safe work environment.Coach employees to eliminate hazardous condition and workpractices.Maintainawareness of improved operational methods, production processes, orequipment which improve quality and productivity and reduce waste.PreferredexperienceRequiresbachelor degree in Business Administration or Engineering, orequivalent.Seven to tenyears experience in foundryoperations."Foundry Manager" foundry manager superintendentIndiana INT
